Das Projekt (welches vorher CMS-dev hieß) nutzt die von CERN entwickelte CernVM, eine virtuelle Maschine, sowie den BOINC Virtualisierungs-Code, um die Rechenpower von Freiwilligen für Physik-Simulationen des LHCs zu nutzen. Mehr Infos zum LHC hier.
